12-year-old killed in ATV crash in Missouri

TRENTON, Mo. — A 12-year-old boy died after an ATV incident on Saturday evening in Trenton, Missouri. The crash occurred as the ATV was headed southbound on Southwest 30th Avenue. The driver of the ATV attempted to do a curve in the roadway, lost control and traveled off the east side of the road. He was ejected and the vehicle came to a rest on its wheels in the roadway facing east. Trinidad police officers shot and killed a man after responding to a warrants call early Sunday morning. Another man was also shot and injured, but it’s unclear who fired at him.Officers arrived at about midnight to the 1400 block of San Juan Street and reported hearing voices from a trailer that was in the driveway of the property, according to Trinidad police. When officers knocked, a woman answered and said she was the only one in the trailer and then she became uncooperative with the officers, so they took her into custody, the press release stated. Police are seeking a man and a woman wanted in connection with a stabbing and robbery that took place Sunday morning in the North Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.It happened just before 8 a.m. on the 8600 block of N. Sepulveda Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.Officers responded to the area after receiving calls of a man yelling that he had been stabbed and calling for help.The man was found conscious and breathing, but was suffering from multiple stab wounds, police said.The victim told police that he was walking when a man and woman who were armed with a bat a knife attacked him, stole his money, phone and tablet, and fled the scene in a blue Kia Forte.The suspects were described as a Black man, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, and a white woman with blonde hair, also standing 5 feet 9 inches tall. A man was arrested by San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department deputies Friday morning after a man was killed and set on fire.It happened around 5:30 a.m. Friday on the 16700 block of D Street in Victorville.Deputies from the Victorville station were dispatched to a vacant building where they found the body of a man that had been set on fire.The man was pronounced deceased and the Sheriff's Department Homicide Detail responded to conduct the investigation. During the course of the investigation, authorities identified and arrested Robert Patty, a 54-year-old homeless man in Victorville.Patty was booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga and is being held without bail. Jail records indicate he is due in court Monday.
