SCHODACK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two people were arrested on firearm and drug charges following a traffic stop in Schodack. Joseph Shook (Hudson, 36) and Jeremy Shook (46, Copake) each face several charges. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! On Saturday, October 28, around 2:20 p.m., a be on the lookout (BOLO) was issued for a car on State Route 9J in Schodack for reportedly possibly driving intoxicated. Troopers stopped a car matching the description on Columbia Turnpike in Schodack.Police identified the driver as Joseph Shook and the passenger as Jeremy Shook. Police say a glass smoking device with drug residue on it was in plain view near the driver.Joseph Shook was taken into custody. Police say a further investigation found an illegally possessed handgun with a loaded magazine in the car, leading to the arrest of Jeremy Shook. ST. LOUIS - A series of armed robberies over the weekend in the city of St. Louis have police searching for suspects Monday morning.The crimes occurred in different parts of the city under varying circumstances, but they were all situations involving the victim being held up with a suspect or suspects armed with either guns or a knife.Police are reporting a total of six armed robberies, also known as 'robbery first-degrees,' from the weekend. They went from about 7:45 a.m. on Saturday to early Sunday morning.Authorities told FOX 2 that five of the robberies involved suspects with handguns and one involved a suspect with a knife. It's understood that a couple of the victims were punched in the face, one repeatedly. Fortunately, it appears there were no serious injuries.
