Reportan incendios forestales en Puembo y Tababela, cerca de Quito (CNN Español) — Este miércoles, el Municipio de Quito informó a través de un comunicado que se presentaron dos incendios forestales en las zonas de Puembo y Tababela.El alcalde de Quito, Pabel Muñoz, informó que se sospecha que los incendios fueron causados por personas y las autoridades iniciaron investigaciones para esclarecer el origen del fuego.El cuerpo de Bomberos de Quito movilizó 80 bomberos, 26 unidades móviles y un helicóptero para combatir el fuego.Hasta el momento solo se reporta una vivienda destruida por los fuegos, pero no se informó de heridos o fallecidos en los incendios.El alcalde añadió que continuarán los trabajos de los bomberos por la noche regando con agua áreas cercanas para que los fuegos no alcancen nuevas zonas.
