Published Fri, 07 Feb 2025 13:00:22 GMT

Minnesota United has struggled mightily at Allianz Field this season, with the league’s second-worst home record entering Saturday night’s game. After losing 2-1 to St. Louis City, the Loons’ second consecutive home loss and third overall, MNUFC might have to ask MLS if it can play its two remaining home games somewhere other than St. Paul. The loss left Minnesota outside the playoff spots for another week, with just four games to go in the season. St. Louis goalkeeper Roman Bürki may be the best keeper in MLS so far this se...

He could be back on the field in time for training camp next summer.UPDATE: 3:38 a.m. Saturday The news regarding Sunday’s showdown of 0-2 teams in Minneapolis focuses on the running backs. The Chargers’ Austin Ekeler has been ruled out because of his injured ankle.
